Water damged equipment

TO OUR CUSTOMERS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY

Whiting recommends the following for Whiting gear cases and screws which have temporarily been submerged as a result of the recent Hurricane Sandy.

This pertains to both Drop Tables and PE Jacks:

Whiting Gear Cases:

Empty the case of all water, etc.

Flush the case with mineral spirits.

Empty and flush with our recommended lubricant.

Replace any seals as needed.

Empty and refill to the appropriate operating level with the recommended lubricant.

Whiting Screws:

Clean thoroughly with mineral spirits.

Apply a fresh coat of the recommended grease.
