Polar Cranes
Polar Overhead Cranes operate on a circular runway located near the spring line of the containment/reactor building. Polar Gantry Cranes are the same as Polar Overhead Cranes except that the runway rail is located at or above the opening floor level. This crane usually has a through leg on one end to service the area between the runway rail and the inner wall.
