The patented TrackRunner Robot, a state of the art tool, efficiently surveys your crane runway. It offers significant improvement over current survey methods in the field.
Key features of the TrackRunner Robot which contribute to the improved process include the onboard cameras and onboard data collections modules. The cameras provide real-time video on the physical condition of items such as rail heads, tie backs, rail hold downs etc. The onboard telemetry modules used for data collection remove the concern of “line of sight” transmission interruptions. All data is compared to CMAA spec 70 guidelines. The TrackRunner Robot has redundant data collection modules to assure a thorough and accurate assessment of the runway.
With the installed software, the robot can be run, and monitored, from a remote location if the environment is unsafe for our operator. Because of the “self-contained” nature of the TrackRunner Robot, the time required to survey the runway is minimized and can often be done in less than 2 hours.
Once we have completed the field survey you will be provided with a report, including pictures and graphs. Video clips can also be provided to show the runway’s physical condition. Included in the report is a proposal to make the necessary repairs and/ or component replacements to bring your system back to CMAA tolerances.
