| Whiting Helps Keep Nuclear Standards Up to Date Thanks to recent efforts at Whiting Corporation, the first major revision of the Seismic Design Requirements specified in the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) NOG-1 Standard, “Rules for Construction of Overhead and Gantry Cranes”, has been completed. The NOG-1 Standard, which was first approved in 1983, is one of two standards controlled by the ASME Standards Committee on Cranes for Nuclear Facilities (CNF).

As part of the customer focus at Whiting Corporation, the company recently completed a series of Project Management workshops relating to the scope and details of the project management process. During the continuous improvement meetings held in Monee, Illinois, emphasis was placed on the identification of the key tools and techniques that are available to the Project Manager.
