Skills and responsibilities: • Work from blueprints, work orders and instructions.
• Read mechanical drawings for product and assembles accordingly.
• Determine necessary tooling to be used for each work order and set-up if required.
• Use measurement devices such as a tape measure, caliper, micrometer, etc.
• Use hand tools, magnetic drill, grinder and air tools to assemble product.
• Prepare layout for sub assemblies.
• Troubleshoot own work.
• Frequently work from an elevated position.
• Operate a fork truck and all overhead cranes.
• Enter work order information through terminals in the shop.
• Follow safety guidelines for safe operation of all equipment.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Use various hand and power tools, measuring devices, fork truck, overhead crane.

Job Requirements • High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
• Experience in crane or heavy equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Work in a factory setting; ability to stand 6-10 hours daily, ability to lift <50lbs frequently. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively within the organization on multiple levels.
• Basic PC knowledge (ability to operate a keyboard and basic navigation between screens within an application).
